You do not need a referral to book an appointment.

If you have a referral, you may be eligible for a rebate through Medicare or your private health insurance fund.

Referrals do not need to be addressed specifically to Ark Psychology Co — we are able to accept referrals addressed more generally.

We can process eligible rebates on your behalf after your session.

If you would like to access Medicare rebates, you will need:

• A valid referral letter from your GP, and

• A current Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).

With a GP referral and MHCP, you are eligible for a $145.25 Medicare rebate per session.
This leaves a $114.75 out-of-pocket (gap) fee.

Full payment is required at the time of your appointment. Once payment has been processed and your session is complete, we will submit your Medicare claim on your behalf.

If your appointment relates to a workers compensation claim, part of your session fee may be covered.

Please contact your employer or workers compensation insurer to confirm your eligibility, level of coverage, and any required documentation prior to your appointment.

Partial session fees may be covered in the case of a Motor Vehicle Injury (TAC) claim.
