What you can expect

i. Free Initial Consultation

As a new client, you receive a free 20-minute Telehealth consultation. This allows us to discuss your presenting concerns, develop an initial understanding of your needs, and ensure the service is a good fit for you.

This consultation informs the initial assessment.

ii. Assessment & Formulation

During the initial assessment, we ask in-depth questions to develop a formulation that explains:

  1. How your presenting concern developed

  2. Why your presenting concern remains

  3. What needs to happen to resolve your concerns

We also measure the severity and impact of your symptoms to track how these change over the course of your treatment.

iii. Treatment Sessions

Your treatment sessions focus on reducing your symptoms by targeting the factors that maintain your presenting concerns.

These sessions will draw on evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, ACT) to address your concerns and live a life that better aligns with your values.

iv. Discharge

Once your symptoms have resolved and you have developed the requisite skills to manage emerging concerns on your own, your treatment will cease.
